What is Chemical Peels treatment?

A Skin Resurfacing Treatment

The modern approach to renewing and resurfacing skin.

A chemical peel is a controlled exfoliating treatment that uses a specialized acid solution to remove damaged outer skin cells and encourage fresh cell turnover. We tailor each treatment to your skin using light, medium, or deep chemical peels. Options range from gentle enzyme and glycolic peels to stronger TCA and salicylic acid formulations that help improve hyperpigmentation, acne and acne scars, fine lines, enlarged pores, and rough texture.

Unlike harsh at-home exfoliants, our professional chemical peels are applied with precision and your skin’s reaction is monitored throughout, so you get real resurfacing benefits without unnecessary irritation. Most peels take twenty to forty-five minutes, and many clients see visible brightening after just one session, with continued improvement over the following days as skin sheds and renews itself.

Chemical Peel FAQ

The real answers

Do Chemical Peels Hurt?

Most clients feel warmth, tingling, or mild stinging while the solution is on. These sensations are brief and typically well-tolerated. We adjust strength and timing to keep the treatment comfortable.

Downtime depends on peel depth and type. Light peels have little to no downtime, while medium peels may cause visible flaking or redness for 3-7 days. We’ll help you set your expectations based on the peel applied.

For most clients, days 2-3 are the most noticeable, with peak flaking, tightness, or redness. This is a normal part of the renewal process and typically improves quickly after.
Skin generally moves through mild redness, then flaking or peeling, then gradual smoothing and brightening. Keeping the skin moisturized, sun-protected, and free of active ingredients helps recovery go smoothly.
We recommend waiting at least 24 hours, and longer if skin is actively flaking. Once peeling has settled, mineral makeup is usually the gentlest option to wear over freshly treated skin.
Results can last several weeks to a few months depending on peel strength and your skincare routine. Many clients maintain results by getting a chemical peel every 4-6 weeks.

For most clients dealing with dullness, uneven tone, sun damage, or textural concerns,
chemical peels offer a low-downtime, budget-friendly way to see real, visible
improvement in skin quality over time.
